Nicole earned an MFA from Parsons School of Design in New York and a BA in Studio-Art from the University of Texas at Austin. She works as a painter and multimedia artist in Houston, TX.
While earning her MFA degree, she studied painting in Paris, France under New York based Bulgarian artist Dimitar Yukanov. After graduation, she worked at bthere.TV video production company inmidtown Manhattan where she gained invaluable experience in designing website graphics for promotion of the company's celebrity video content. Along with digital design, she creates murals and various fine art pieces. She has donated her time and effort to various local community events and has worked on projects with the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission, the Texas Renal Care Center, Baylor College of Medicine, Community Artists' Collective and various other companies.
Currently, she is the Visual Communication chairperson for the BFA program at American InterContinental University Houston. “After graduation, I worked in the industry for awhile and decided that I missed being around students and a learning environment. I knew I was a creative communicator and that I could make students’ lives easier. I love it.”
